Hailing from Delhi, Yash Dhull is the new superstar from the U-19 prodigies who has already made his mark at a very young age. The young bloke led India to victory in the 2021-22 edition of U-19 Asia Cup and U-19 World Cup. The right-handed middle-order batter has also represented Delhi U-14, U-16 and U-19. Dhull’s mother, Neelam Singh, spotted her son’s love for the game and enrolled his name in the cricket academy at the age of 4. Dhull rose to prominence after his brilliant 186 against Punjab in the Vijay Merchant Trophy. The 19-year-old was the leading run-scorer for Delhi in Vinoo Mankad Trophy after piling 302 runs in that season with a scintillating average of 75.5 in 5 matches. After his heroics in the domestic circuit, he was named as the skipper of the India U-19 team for the Asia Cup and Cricket World Cup (CWC).
