Auckland/Auckland Aces, New Zealand A, New Zealand XI
A left-handed batsman who can also bowl useful left-arm medium pace, Sean Solia, has found his career in the white-ball format of the game, although he's a no mean performer in the red-ball format of the game either. Having made his debut in the Plunkett Shield clash against Canterbury during the 2016-17 season, it wasn't an easy ride for Solia, who soon found himself only in the fringes of the first eleven. His aggressive strokeplay wasn't missed though and he soon debuted in the other formats of the game, where he excelled, often making runs at a quick rate at the top of the order. Solia made a spectacular List A debut, smashing 152 against Northern Districts, in January 2017, and has since then been a regular part of Auckland's white-ball plans.
