With an experience of 130-plus first-class matches, Pieter Malan is a batting all-rounder from South Africa who made his debut in domestic cricket way back in 2007. Having shown tremendous potential at the junior cricket level, Malan has made huge improvement over the years. When India won the Under19 World Cup under the leadership of Virat Kohli, Malan had taken the wicket of Kohli with his gentle medium pace and that remains to be one of the most memorable moments in his career.Having scored 27 centuries in first-class cricket, Malan has a vast experience and is regarded highly in South Africa's domestic circuit. A top-order batsman with variety of shots in his armory, Malan scored an impressive 180 against Titans in March 2018. His consistency across all three formats is what makes him a special player. An average of 45 in first-class cricket, an average of 46 in T20s and an average of 47 in List-A cricket, shows the incredible potential this lad has. He has played for many cricket clubs across England in his early career but of late he has been playing South African domestic cricket on a regular basis. The top-order batsman was the leading run scorer during the 2017–18 Momentum One Day Cup.
