India, Delhi, North Zone, Duleep Trophy Team D, India A, Kolkata Knight Riders
A bratty, young pacer from Delhi with the confidence to take on the world, Harshit Rana could be the next big thing in Indian cricket. He can easily clock over 140 clicks and with a tall, intimidating frame can be a batter’s nightmare. After some solid success in the domestic circuit, Harshit became a household name in the 2024 IPL. He took the mantle on himself to bowl the difficult overs and delivered some match winning performances for the eventual champions Kolkata Knight Riders. He was also retained ahead of the mega auctions. Often combative, Harshit isn’t afraid to sledge the opposition batters in a bid to try and get the best out of himself. He was in the fringes for the Indian team for a while post the IPL, and finally got his breakthrough in Test cricket with a debut in Perth. Harshit impressed with four wickets, looking the part in International cricket.
