Having represented teams like Dolphins, KwaZulu-Natal, KwaZulu-Natal Inland, Maritzburg College and South Africa Under19s, Daryn Dupavillon is a fast bowler who hails from Durban. Someone who can time after time clock a speed of 140-plus, Dupavillon is considered to a potential fast bowler for South Africa. Daryn first impressed in South Africa's domestic circuit with his mind blowing figures of 8 wickets against Knights during the Sunfoil Series 2014-15. As a result of his match winning spell, Dolphins managed to beat Knights by a colossal margin of 242 runs and that was just the start of an emerging Proteas bowler. Duplavillon's first class debut came against North West in the CSA Provincial Three-Day Competition at Potchefstroom in 2013, but it wasn't a great one for the young pacer as his team (KwaZulu-Natal Inland) was bowled out for a shambolic score of 26 in the first innings. Daryn couldn't contribute much with the ball and ended up with only one wicket in the 3-day contest and the end result was that KwaZulu-Natal Inland got thrashed by an innings and 76 runs. Anyways, Dupavillon is a really hard-working youngster with tremendous potential and talent. If he keeps striving hard, Daryn can soon be a part of the South African international team.
