Born in Jamaica, Chinelle Henry is a right-handed batter and right-arm fast bowler. She made her T20I debut in 2013 and her ODi debut a year later. In 2019 she was awarded a central contract by Cricket West Indies. A new-ball bowler she often partners with Shamilia Connell in sharing the hard rock. In July 2021, she and Chedean Nation collapsed on the field in a WT20I against Pakistan and were taken to hospital but they were discharged soon after being in a stable and conscious condition.
