Kariyawasam Indipalage Charith Asalanka (born 29 June 1997) is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who plays all three formats of the game for the national team and also serves as the vice-captain of the national team in T20I and ODI. Aleft-handed batsman, Asalanka made his international debut for Sri Lanka in June 2021. In June 2021, Asalanka was named in Sri Lanka's squad for their tour of England. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 29 June 2021, for Sri Lanka against England. In July 2021, he was named in Sri Lanka's squad for their series against India.On 19 July 2021, Asalanka scored his maiden ODI fifty against India. He made his T20I debut on 25 July 2021, for Sri Lanka against India.
