Afsar Zazai is a right-handed wicket-keeper-batsman for Afghanistan. He was just 16 years old when he was included in the Afghanistan squad for 2010 Under-19 World Cup. In fact, he was also a part of the 2012 Under-19 World Cup. At the age of 18, he made his First-Class debut for Afghanistan in an Intercontinental Cup match against Netherlands in Sharjah. He scored an unbeaten 84 in the second innings to help his team win by three wickets. Zazai made his ODI debut for Afganistan in the four-match ODI series against UAE in 2014-15. He kept wickets in all the games for Afghanistan. With a batting average of above 31, Zazai can be a very handy batsman during the World Cup 2015. He was chosen as the lone wicket-keeper-batsman in the 15-member squad. He was chosen ahead of Afghanistan's previous wicket keeper-batsman, Shafiqullah, who has been kept as a standby for the World Cup. By Sidhant Maheshwari
